a. Formasi Permainan Softball, teknik penyerangan adalah cara untuk membuat atau mengumpulkan nilai sebanyak mungkin. Hal yang mendukung keberhasilan taktik penyerangan adalah:
1) Kecakapan memukul bola
2) Kemampuan berlari dengan cepat
3) Keahlian sliding
4) Siasat penyerangan oleh tim manager
b. Serangan Pukulan, pukulan mengadakan sacrifice bunt dengan bola ditujukan kea rah base pertama, maksudnya agar pelari pada base pertama dapat melanjutkan lari ke base kedua dan pelari di base dua menuju ke base ketiga. Pemukul:
1) Memperhatikan tanda yang diberikan padanya
2) Ambil sikap memukul yang normal
3) Pivot dengan cepat untuk mengambil posisi pukulan tumbuk pada saat pitcher melepaskan bola.
4) Bola di-bunt kea rah base pertama
5) Bola di-bunt hanya apabila lemparan pitcher akan menjadi strike
Pelari:
1) Memperhatikan tanda yang diberikan.
2) Siap start dengan salah satu kaki menyentuh base
3) Lari dengan cepat menuju ke base dua, bila bola berhasil di-bunt.
4) Kembali dengan cepat bola tidak kena bunt dan telah terlanjur start atau lepas dari basenya.

d. Teknik sliding dalam penyerangan, teknik sliding adalah cara untuk mencapai base dengan meluncurkan badan. Dalam melakukan teknik ini, pelari tidak boleh mengurangi kecepatan larinya. Penggunaan teknik sliding sebenarnya mempunyai tujuan: pertama, untuk mengurangi lajunya lari kea rah base tanpa kehilangan tempo larinya dari base satu ke base berikutnya dan dapat berhenti tepat di base-nya; kedua, untuk menghindarkan sentuhan (katukan) bola oleh lawan, sehingga dapat mencapai base-nya dengan selamat.
